Nets Assistant GM Bobby Marks Announces His Team Departure

by There’s something in the Nets water that has someone other than a player on the team, leave every year. Today, Brooklyn Nets assistant GM Bobby Marks, announced in a “Thank You” letter via Twitter that he will be leaving the organization.
“Please don’t take this as an obituary but rather a Thank You…” Marks opens his departure letter. Marks who has been with the Nets organization for the past 20 years tells of his start at 21 years old as just a PR intern “cutting newspaper clips,” to becoming one of the most respected men right under Nets General Manager, Billy King.
