Brooklyn native and legendary soul singer, Maxwell, will play the Brooklyn arena on February 14th, 2016. Nas, also born in Brooklyn, will join Maxwell along with new Roc nation signee, Emeli Sande.
The show is set to be Maxwell’s first New York City concert since 2010, a show that The New York Times called “a surefooted, playfully intelligent, supremely satisfying show.” The February date will be the GRAMMY-winning singer’s first U.S. concert since 2014’s Summer Soulstice Tour.

The concert comes just weeks before the 20th anniversary of his genre-defining first album Maxwell’s Urban Hang Suite. His most recent album, the platinum-selling BLACKsummers’night, was released in 2009, debuted at #1 and earned him a pair of GRAMMYs. Maxwell is putting the final touches on the second album in his trilogy, blackSUMMERS’ night, planned for release in 2016.
