Jon Stewart Set To Host WWE SummerSlam At Barclays Center

The Daily Show with Jon Stewart may be no more, but John Stewart wants you to know he’s still working.

Today the WWE Network announced, the 56-year-old comedian is set to host SummerSlam on August 23rd, live at Barclays Center. The highly anticipated event will be Stewart’s first major gig since the ending of his 16 year run on The Daily Show.

Stewart is a longtime wrestling fan and appeared in the ring with WWE heavyweight champion Seth Rollins earlier this year. Rollins later appeared on Stewart’s show and the duo settled their “feud” during and episode of USA’s Monday Night Raw.

The four-hour event will air live at 7pm on WWE Network, well of-course if you already haven’t scored a ticket to the sold-out show.
