by Brooklyn rapper, Joey Bada$$, ignored multiple warnings not to stare at the sun during Monday afternoon’s historical eclipse and now is feeling the repercussions.
In a series of tweets, the 22-year-old rapper, went from boasting about watching the eclipse with no protective eyewear to canceling shows “due to unforeseen circumstances.”

“Seeing double, stacking triple,” he tweeted Wednesday, hinting that the cause of the cancellation of his shows in Cleveland, Chicago and Toronto, were due to the effects of watching the eclipse.
Bada$$ wasn’t the only one who watched the eclipse without protective eyewear, President Donald Trump, also looked directly at the sun as cameras were on him, but only briefly. He has not reported any vision issues since.
