Looks as if the anticipation for the “Between The Sheets” tour featuring Chris Brown, Trey Songz and opener, rapper Tyga has to last a little longer than expected.

Chris Brown Postpones Barclays Center Tour Date

Chris Brown had to postponed the start of the tour, which included his stop in Brooklyn’s Barclays Center this upcoming Thursday, January 29th. According to the 25-year-old singer, a Los Angeles judge denied him a request for a waiver for him to travel. Brown posted to Instagram his heartfelt apologies to his fas:

“I would first like to apologize to all the fans and people who have been supporters of me and all the music over the years. The beginning of the BTS tour has been moved to later dates now. The judge would not sign off on my travel to do the tour until I finish these last 100 hours of community service. I promise that I am busting my ass doing it everyday until it’s complete. This is the most disappointing news I’ve gotten in a while. Everything happens for a reason so I wanted to personally inform my fans. The show must go on. Out of 1000 hours I only have 100 left. I will work my ass off to complete it and I will be on that stage. Once again I’m sorry for the delay. I love yall! We will let yall know the dates that are changed. It’s not cancelled. Just moved around a couple weeks.”

Chris Brown’s probation, stemming from his conviction in 2009 for assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna, was revoked earlier this month. The judge learned of Brown’s probation violation from the publicity surrounding Brown’s appearance at a San Jose nightclub where five people were injured during a shooting, as the singer was not to leave Los Angeles County.

No word as of yet on the new Barclays Center date. Keep it locked for an official update.
