While the snow continues to pile up, lets prepare for the summer. We weren’t so lucky Sunday morning, as the groundhog predicted that we will see a longer winter than normal, but lets put that aside and talk about “Celebrate Brooklyn!” One of the New York’s longest running, FREE, outdoor festivals is coming to you soon and we need you to prepare for it! It’s the best of the best in Music, Film, Theater and Dance.

On June 4,2014 the kickoff season of the festival starts with award winning recording artist Janelle Monae.

Janelle Monae who currently has an album “Electric Lady’ which was released back in 2013 with hits like Q.U.E.E.N and Primetime. She is sure to bring Brooklyn a different, eclectic vibe for the star of the summer.
