As of Monday, October 19th, all 22 Brooklyn libraries will be open six days a week, including Macon, Mapleton, New Lots, Kings Highway and Central branches to be open seven days a week.

According to Patch, Brooklyn Public Libraries will ”dramatically expand its hours of service across the borough… thanks to an increased investment of $12 million in Brooklyn’s libraries made by the Mayor and City Council in the 2016 budget.”
