Carrie Brownstein Enlists Questlove To Kick Of Book Tour

Seattle born musician, actress and writer, Carrie Brownstein, is set to release her new memoir, Hunger Makes Me A Modern Girl, this October. In anticipation of the new book, the Portlandia star has enlisted a number of celebrities including Amy Poehler, Jessica Hopper and more, to accompany her on the 11-stop book tour.

The tour is set to kick off in Brooklyn at WORD Bookstore at Saint Vitus in Greenpoint (1120 Manhattan Ave.) and will have a special appearance by Brooklyn resident, Questlove, formerly of The Roots. Every tour stop with be completely focused on the Brownstein’s new book, so if you’re looking for a live performance, sorry you’re only going to get a live literary discussion.
