Coca Cola’s, Get The Ball Rolling initiative is promoting living an active and healthy lifestyle.
Yesterday, Brooklyn Nets All-Star, Brook Lopez teamed up with Coca-Cola to host a basketball themed clinic at Barclays Center. Around 50 young participants from Boy’s & Girls Club’s Thomas S. Murphy Clubhouse in Flatbush came out to exercise and shoot hoops with the basketball star.
Lopez made himself available for questions from the young future stars. When asked, “Now that Paul Pierce is gone on to Washington, how will that affect the team this season?” by one of the children. Lopez stated, “Washington received a great player, but we can’t really focus on what we lost.” Lopez has assured us that he will be back full force in the upcoming season. He’s been actively working out and practicing to get better during this entire off-season.
