Stephen Miller, who coincidentally has the same name as a prominent Trump advisor, caused a Twitter firestorm after posting a photo of a ticket he purchased for a “Woman-only screening” of Wonder Woman at Alamo Drafthouse Brooklyn.

Miller, a writer for the conservative website Heat Street, shared a screenshot of his ticket confirmation to the film event that specifically states, “no boys allowed,” on Friday evening. “I have some personal news I’d like to share,” Miller wrote.

The new dine-in movie theater in Downtown Brooklyn announced the screening on Wednesday saying: “Apologies, gentlemen, but we’re embracing our girl power and saying “No Guys Allowed” for several special shows at the Alamo Downtown Brooklyn. And when we say “Women (and people who identify as women) only” we mean it.”

Miller — who doesn’t identify as female — announcing his purchase to the special screening caused Twitter users, both male and female, to debate for days. One Twitter user proclaimed, “This is what a real man looks like, everyone! Just in awe of all of this testosterone. It’s really incredible.” Another user responded, “Dude crashing female-only screening of WW just to prove he can get away with it. Thus proving why there’s a female-only screening of WW.”

The tweets continued:

…and continued:

Though Miller assured he isn’t interested in causing a scene, continues to standby his purchase and assures the public he will attend the screening, posting the ticket confirmation for everyone to see screams otherwise.

Alamo Drafthouse, who stated they meant for this to be a “fun celebration” and a benefit for Planned Parenthood, in which all proceeds will be going, responded to numerous complaints of a male being able to purchase a ticket, by adding additional women-only screenings.

We can only wait until next Sunday to see what actually happens, but we must say we hope it turns out the way Twitter user, BenDavid Grabinski wants it to. Although, highly unlikely.
