The Downtown Brooklyn Arts Festival (DBAF) returns to celebrate Downtown Brooklyn’s cultural community and the artists, writers, and performers who inspire the borough’s creative spirit. During the annual celebration, acclaimed local arts organizations will open their doors with exciting performances, classes, and tours, and offer a host of free outdoor programming at The Plaza at 300 Ashland located at Flatbush and Lafayette Avenues.

The Pink Party – A Benefit Concert for Planned Parenthood

DOG SEES GOD: Confessions Of A Teenage Blockhead by Bert V. Royal is a play that cleverly reimagines our favorite characters from the Peanuts comic strips by Charles M.Schulz, and portrays them as adolescent degenerates. The play surrounds itself with prevalent and timeless issues such as identity; relationships; death; sexual orientation and drug use. A play that is relatable to all ages and audiences. 10% of profits will be donated the non-profit organization (To Write Love On Her Arms) that deals with mental health and suicide prevention through directly reaching those sufferers as well as educating and supporting those who surround them.
