Noted photographer Anthony Barboza leads an on-stage discussion with poet, activist, and journalist Quincy Troupe about his newly re-issued memoir, Miles and Me, a candid account of his friendship with Miles Davis and an engrossing chronicle of the author’s own artistic and personal growth. AÂ special film screening with rare footage of Miles Davis and Mr. Troupe in 1989 will show at 6pm (separate rsvp required).
