Alexander Wang suprised many fashion industry elite by announcing that he will show his Fall 2014 Collection at Brooklyn Navy Yard. Many style watchers are left shocked and slightly enraged that he is moving his show across the East River. Wang is the first major designer to leave Manhattan for a Fashion Week event. He choose the beautiful Duggal Greenhouse to unveil his collection on February 8th!
Many Fashion Week attendees say that Wang, alongside Marc Jacobs are the only designers that could make them travel outside of Manhattan to see their collection! Although Brooklyn is evolving quickly, it still remains a no man’s land for high powered editors and stylist who attend most Fashion Week events!
