Today, Barclays Center  announced that they have formed an alliance with Cumulus’ NASH FM 94.7, the only Country music radio station in New York City. As part of the new partnership, the arena will host a minimum of two NASH BASH events annually featuring some of the top Country music artists. The NASH team will also collaborate with the arena in curating talent for additional Country shows.

“Barclays Center and Brooklyn are red hot. There’s no better partner to have for our red hot NASH Country music brand,” said John Dickey, Executive Vice President of Content & Programming for Cumulus. “We also are excited to further expand our NASH BASH franchise in Brooklyn.”

In September 2014, Barclays Center launched its Country in Brooklyn platform by hosting Billboard’s reigning ‘Top Country Artist’ Luke Bryan for the arena’s first ever country music show. Country in Brooklyn is an extension of the BROOKLYN SHOW programming franchise of Barclays Center, which focuses on country music.

“It was clear from our sold-out Luke Bryan concert last September that country is a wildly popular genre in Brooklyn,” said Barclays Center CEO Brett Yormark. “We are proud to align with Cumulus and NASH, which is quickly becoming the nation’s premier Country music brand, to help grow our Country in Brooklyn business.”

The first NASH BASH can be expected at Barclays Center as early as this spring.
