Reports are floating around that our favorite tech brand will soon be on its way over. The Cupertino Company has long snubbed Brooklyn, building five Apple stores in Manhattan and even one in Staten Island, while ignoring New York’s most populous borough. This oversight may soon be corrected as Apple is reportedly eyeing two locations in Brooklyn’s Fort Greene and Williamsburg neighborhoods.

If Apple were to build in Williamsburg, they are looking at a spot on Bedford Avenue. The location would be across the street from a future Whole Food location. If it makes way to Fort Greene otherwise known as BAM South, it would be two blocks from the Barclays Center, several sources told the Real Deal. Apple has declined to comment on a future Brooklyn location. We know how Apple likes to be completely secret on new things! But this would be the perfect time to build a location in Brooklyn.

There have been speculations of an Apple store in Brooklyn since about 2008. “I seriously just don’t get it,” Form Borough President Marty Markowitz told the New York Post in 2011, when once such location did not work out. Markowitz has been championing for the tech retailer to come to Brooklyn since 2006. Hopefully Borough President Eric Adams can see this through.

We all will be sitting here waiting!
