The comical online sitcoThe Outs are back on the web with season 2 and you’re invited to watch!

The sitcom, centered around a Brooklyn gay couple who have split but continue to stay in each other’s lives, are lining up to host a release party for their anticipated return.

While the creators take pride in the “oh so Brooklyn” settings — you’ll be able to spot a few familiar places in the show — they enjoy showcasing a series that gives an original and exciting atmosphere.

“Shooting in Brooklyn is great — it’s such a vibrant place, and there’s so much going on…Wherever you’re shooting, it always has a unique personality,” Adam Goldman, who main character Mitchell, tells Brooklyn Daily.

The streets of Brooklyn can of course get a bit busy which can sometimes become an obstacle during filming. Co-creator, Sash Winters, who is also characterized as Mitchell’s bestie Oona, explained some days are busier than others, where they have to brush fans away from the cameras.

“You never really know what it’s going to be like…We’ve had people walk by and want to be in the scene,” said Winters.

Season 1 debuted in March of 2012 covering neighborhoods such as Park Slope, Gowanus, Crown Heights, and Prospect Heights and after four years, they are ready to spread their humor across Brooklyn again. This time around, the creators are taking things up a notch as they incorporated one of the shows biggest fans, actor Alan Cumming. Alan, is known for his numerous Broadway performances and his role on the television show The Good Wife. Although this will not be the first time Alan makes an appearance on the internet show, he’s back again for season 2.

The cast and creators are looking forward to mingling and celebrating their come back this Wednesday at Littlefield in Gowanus.

Goldman excitedly expressed, “It’s really exciting to finally be able to say this is what we’ve been hammering away at…Everybody will be having drinks and celebrating the show coming back after three years. We always throw a good party.”

The FREE event is expected to kick things off at 8pm, hoping Brooklynites will come out to support.
