Rap legend, Slick Rick, celebrated his 50th birthday at Brooklyn Bowl on Wythe Avenue in Williamsburg. Amongst many family and friends that came out, another rap legend, Nas, surprised Slick Rick with a custom crown cake made special for the rapper by BCakeNY in Prospect Heights.
Nas took to Instagram, “HAPPY BDAY SLICK RICK THE RULER!!!!!!!”. After cutting the divine cake the two jumped on stage to perform “Children’s Story,” a classic from Slick Rick’s 1988 album, The Great Adventures of Slick Rick. The party turned out to be a true Hip-Hop enthusiast dream.
