On Saturday night as many fashion enthusiast traveled to Brooklyn Navy Yard for Alexander Wang’s Fall/Winter 2014 Collection, it has many people wondering if Brooklyn might become the new home for some of Lincoln Center’s Fashion Week shows. Wang’s collection featured a strong militaristic, space-age amazingness. The runway included short gray jackets with utility pockets matched with the coolest thigh high boots you have ever seen placed all over them. Innovative handbags were carried with cool attachments for keys, water bottles, wallets, and any other tons of unnecessary stop people love to carry around! Lastly the best of tunics, silk, sherling coats, sweatshirts and lots of unfinished edges. This collection represented that Brooklyn is the future of fashion!

Here are some of the amazing looks from the collection!

If you truly love fashion, you will travel for it. Although Alexander Wang set it up so that his attendees didn’t have to worry too much about transportation! I believe Wang started something, don’t be surprised when you see more and more shows coming to Brooklyn! From Bryant Park to Lincoln Center to Brooklyn Navy Yard…. Doesn’t sound bad at all!
