90’s Fest is officially less than a week away, and this is rumored to be one epic, unforgettable experience. The throwback festival is taking place at 50 Kent Avenue, the usual spot in Williamsburg for outdoor festivities.
Be prepared, because the nostalgia is going to be real. Have your troll dolls, lanyard, and Tamagotchi in tow! But if you’re not sure what is suitable attire for this fest, we’re here to help. Some popular clothing brands of the 90’s were Karl Kani, Rocawear, Calvin Klein, Keds, Guess and Tommy Hilfiger. Now it’s one thing to know all the lyrics at a festival, but it’s a complete game changer if your outfit exemplifies the theme of the festival.
Here are some outfit options for 90’s Fest, let’s just hope this summery weather holds up. Raid your parents’ or older siblings’ closets for the following items:
1. Anything neon! Remember the 90’s was one of those era’s where you made sure you were noticeable and hard to miss.
2. Acid Wash, this was a popular style in the 90’s, get creative with it. (Jeans, Romper, or even a shirt would suffice)
3. Reebok’s, Adidas Converse, Nike’s, Vans, or Combat Boots.
