“Been spending most our lives, living in a gangsters paradise…” Do you remember those lyrics sung by old-school rapper, Coolio in “Gangsta’s Paradise”? I’m sure you do, and if not, Coolio is headed to Williamsburg to remind you.

On September 12, some of your favorite musicians of the 90s will be taking us back in time at one of the most nostalgic music festivals of the summer. 90sFest, to be held at 50 Kent, will feature performances from Lisa Loeb, Naughty by Nature, Tonic, Smash Mouth, Blind Melon and of-course Coolio. A surprise guest, not named for obvious reasons but is said to surely “delight the crowd” along with a massive “Macarena” dance is set to occur. We could see the nostalgic dance really setting off things.

Tickets for the inaugural 90sFest are now currently on sale. General Admission starts at $60, with VIP tickets running $150 (it’s Coolio, people).
