MOFAD is celebrating the launch of The Sullivan Street Cookbook with an in-depth discussion between Lahey and leading food writer Ruth Reichl. As part of the Feasts and Festivals program series, Lahey and Reichl will highlight some of the celebratory recipes, such as panettone and bones of the dead cookies. Their talk will be followed by an audience Q&A, book signing, and samples from Sullivan Street Bakery.

Greater New York’s Fulbright Association is proud to launch the FULBRIGHT FILM SERIES (FFS) in partnership with Alamo Drafthouse, featuring the new film FOR AHKEEM: “A poignant snapshot of black struggle that humanizes a range of social issues through the first-hand experiences of one young woman” (Hollywood Reporter). A panel of Fulbrighters will then discuss the film in the context of a wider conversation on the theme of “Filmmaking in ‘Foreign’ Cultures & Subcultures.” Every ticket to our special launch event includes reserved seating for FOR AHKEEM & the panel discussion — plus a reception (with appetizers and a complimentary drink).
