SuperWings Closes In East Flatbush, Plans East New York Pop-Up!

Don’t fret, those pineapple jerk wings will soon be available in East New York.
Colette Burnett, owner of SuperWings in Crown Heights, has recently shut down her East Flatbush location. Although business is booming in Crown Heights, Burnett’s wing heaven struggled on the corners of Utica and Church Avenues.
“We never completely gelled with the Flatbush community, especially with our push for community involvement,” Burnett told the NYDailyNews.
Don’t worry, the Trinidadian chef that took on celebrity chef Bobby Flay on his very own show, plans to open an East New York pop-up location by December. Burnett is scanning an open slot close to the New Lots Avenue stop on the L line.
