Hip-Hop royalty, Jay Z and Beyoncé, could be headed to Brooklyn Bridge Park, according to a new rumor started by a Brooklyn Heights resident at a recent community meeting. The couple famous for moving seemingly every year from Manhattan to Los Angeles to Paris, is said to have purchased a duplex-style apartment at Pierhouse, the new residential building at 90 Furman Street, reports Brooklyn Paper.
Pierhouse is said to not have denied the claim, but not necessarily confirmed it either. “I wish that I could confirm that Jay-Z and Beyonce had bought at Pierhouse but I cannot confirm that,” Barbara Wagner of Rubenstein Associates, the public relations firm representing the development told Brooklyn Paper. “You can publish it as a rumor.”
The classy condos, with a perfect view of the Brooklyn Bridge, range anywhere from $2.85 million to $10.49 million. Building residents also receive a pretty cool amenities package with a neighboring hotel that allows access to their 24-hour lobbies, multiple fitness centers, a meditation room, residents’ lounge, valet parking, children’s playroom (perfect for Blue Ivy of-course), a pet wash, and refrigerated storage, a 20,000-square-foot event space, spa and a rooftop pool, reports Curbed. A farm-to-table restaurant is also said to be currently in the works. (Possibly Dig-in. Wishful thinking!)
It would be cool to have the hometown king back in his birthplace, not to mention we’d all be closer to Beyoncé.
Prayers Up!
