Malia & Sasha Obama Will Be Bridesmaids In A Fall Brooklyn Wedding, Reportedly

First daughters, Malia (18) and Sasha Obama (15) will be headed to Brooklyn later this year. The two beautiful girls are set to be in the wedding of two former staffers of their parents President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.

Kristen Jarvis, the First Lady’s former chief of staff is set to wed the President’s former secret service agent, Shaun West — who met while working together in the White House — on November 12 of this year. Although the Daily Mail reports the couple’s wedding will take place at Bellevue Conference Center, an event hall 30 minutes away from Washington D.C., Jarvis and West’s wedding registry states they’ll wed in Brooklyn.

The couple’s wedding website is only able to be accessed with a private pin number though many of the wedding details have seemed to be released.

Jarvis, who served as the First Lady’s right hand woman for over seven years and became extremely close with the Obama sisters, particularly Sasha, stated on the website why she wanted Sasha in the wedding.

“If you know me, you know my love for this chica right here. I’ve known Sasha since she was three years old, and I couldn’t be more proud of the young woman she has become. She has had to endure more than most will in a lifetime, and she has handled life thus far with such grace and humility,” Jarvis writes on the couple’s website, according to Daily Mail. “Sasha and I have had a big sister/little sister relationship since the very beginning and there is nothing I wouldn’t do for this girl — and I know she would do the same for me.”

TMZ reports Jarvis asked Malia to be a bridesmaid as well, because that would totally make sense.

Guests have been asked to wear ‘cocktail-chic’ for the event. R&B stars Ledisi, Eric Benet and Kenny Lattimore are expected to perform and the First Lady is also expected to attend.
