3 Brooklyn Cafes Will Turn Into Luke's Diner In Honor Of Gilmore Girls Revival

Gilmore Girls fans, if bringing back your favorite show wasn’t enough, the TV series iconic Luke’s Diner is coming to Brooklyn.

In honor of the show’s four-episode revival headed to Netflix, over 200 pop-up coffee shops will revamp into Luke’s Diner, will appear nationwide on October 5, including three right here in Brooklyn.

For one-day-only, the online streaming service will be providing “all the Luke’s Diner essentials” for the staff and baristas, including Luke’s branded hats and aprons. The pop-up cafes at The Bean (101 Bedford Ave., Williamsburg) Sir D’s Lounge (837 Union St., Park Slope) and Brooklyn Roasting Company (200 Flushing Avenue., Brooklyn Navy Yard) run from 7 a.m. to noon but those hoping for a FREE cup of coffee and a chance to catch a glimpse of the “fun surprise under their custom Gilmore Girls coffee sleeve” should arrive early as supplies are limited.

The event coincides with the 16th anniversary of the series’ original pilot airdate and preparing fans for the November 25 release of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life on Netflix.
