The artist of the jaw-dropping exhibit Kehinde Wiley: A New Republic is headed to the Brooklyn Museum on Thursday, April 16th at 7PM for an interactive multimedia talk exploring the scope and meaning of his work.

Among today’s most innovative and successful painters, Kehinde Wiley is known throughout the world for his vivid portraits of African American men and women that use the conventions of traditional European portraiture.
