Whole Foods Market 365 will open on Wednesday, January 31, at 292 Ashland Place in Fort Greene; the first of its kind on the East Coast.

This 30,000 square foot space is located in the 300 Ashland building, next door to a new Apple store and down the block from Atlantic Terminal and Barclays Center.

Whole Foods Market 365 focuses on “value, convenience and unique retail innovations” while still keeping to Whole Foods Market’s strict quality standards. The grocery store, while lower in price,  will still offer high-quality products free of artificial flavors, colors, sweeteners, preservatives, hydrogenated fats and high-fructose corn syrup.

“We’re very excited to bring Whole Foods Market 365’s easy, everyday shopping experience to the heart of Brooklyn in Fort Greene,” said Jeff Turnas, president of Whole Foods Market 365 in a statement. “Whether you’re meeting a friend for a burger and shake, grabbing coffee along your commute, or looking for high-quality bargains to stock up the pantry at home, we will have something for everyone. Our first East Coast store is a great example of how the 365 brand continues to innovate and evolve the shopping experience.”

The grocery will also include: New York City based artisanal bakery café offering hand-crafted breads, pastries, sandwiches and salads, along with a full coffee bar, Orwashers Bakery & Coffee Bar; fresh and organic grab-and-go health food eatery offering custom smoothies to meals and snacks, Juice Press; and Next Level Burger which is America’s first 100 percent plant-based burger joint offers modern twists on the classics, such as stacked burgers, fries and hand-spun shakes.
