A human fetus found stuck inside a pipe at a home in Canarsie is the result of a miscarriage, police officials say.

Plumbers were called to clear a clog inside a home on East 83rd Street near Flatlands Ave., on Tuesday. The plumber opened the elbow of the drain in the basement about and found the dead fetus mixed with waste.
