The annual Brooklyn Mela, which celebrates Pakistan’s Independence Day, heads back to Coney Island for a day full of music, lots of food and great Pakistani pride. The festivities will be held on Sunday from Noon to 6pm on Coney Island Avenue, between Avenue H and Newkirk Avenue.
