Old Brooklyn to New Brooklyn! According to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, the Nets will pay tribute to the Brooklyn’s famous baseball team on March 21 against the Boston Celtics when the team will convert to an alternate “Brooklyn Blue Nights” uniform. The sleeved jersey (yes sleeves are making a comeback in the NBA) features the classic blue “Brooklyn Dodger” text and grey background. Apparently the Nets will wear the uniforms four other times before the end of the 2013-2014 season.The other games have yet to be announced! The Brooklyn Dodgers played in Brooklyn from 1885 until 1957, when they relocated to Los Angeles.

Nets Fans will be able to purchase the jerseys at the NBA store, with prices ranging from about $50 to $110.
