“When we first built this hotel 16 years ago, it was the first hotel built in all of Brooklyn in 64 years. Since then, Brooklyn’s further evolution has been extraordinary and amazing. Our goal is to continue to grow: to immerse our guests into that unique and transformative ‘Brooklyn experience.’ The emphasis on local purveyors and unique offerings has elevated the dining scene in Brooklyn, and is another enticing draw for travelers and groups,” says Joshua Muss, Owner of Muss Development and owner of the hotel. “With the completion of phase one of Brooklyn Marriott’s renovation, we have succeeded well beyond what we had hoped! And our hotel remains the hospitality leader – The biggest and best option in Downtown Brooklyn, one of the most exciting destinations in the country.”

In addition to The Bar and M Club Lounge, the hotel’s Front Desk has been reimagined as part of the renovation. From inviting concierge pods that welcome guests, to a large abstract mural based on a photograph of the Brooklyn Bridge, the contemporary look is modern and vibrant. The redesign of the hotel’s ballroom and meeting rooms, one of the city’s largest and most versatile venues, will be completed in September 2015. Renovations of the hotel’s 667 guest rooms will be completed in 2016.
