Brooklyn Nets star center, Brook Lopez, has more than basketball on his mind. The number 11 player has dreams of playing Wookiee in the next “Star Wars” movie.
Lopez is set to visit the set where the upcoming movie will be filmed. A friend of the athlete is actually working on the set of “Star Wars” and plans to hook up the player with a visit.

“I think I get to go on a little, ‘go-see,’ or something like that, whatever the term is,” Lopez told ESPN. “If I can work it out, just check it out, behind-the-scenes, everything. It’s working. It’s in the process of working,” he went on. “You guys did a big thing for me [writing about my interest]. I can’t thank you enough. … I don’t want to jinx it, but it’s going pretty good so far.”
