From “Wrecking Ball” to back-to-back home game wins, the Barclays Center for the past week has been a home for excited fans. On Tuesday, April 1st, the Brooklyn Nets battled the Houston Rockets for their 14th straight home game win. The Nets beat the Rockets at home for the first time in 11 years, in a 105-96 victory! The Nets hadn’t defeated the Rockets at home since March 31, 2003, when they were still known as the New Jersey Nets. Exciting game for us fans and also was an extremely star studded game over at the arena as well.

On Friday, April 4th, the Brooklyn Nets took on the Detroit Pistons looking for their 15th straight home game win. With a 116-104 victory over the Pistons, it seems the Nets have perfected their home court strategies! The Nets led by as many as 22, with the Pistons cutting the lead to single digits a few times but never really getting ahead. The Nets have six games remaining (three of them being at home) to try to close the gap on Chicago and Toronto. Since they are so hot on the home court, gaining home-court advantage during the play-offs means the most to the Brooklyn basketball team at the moment.
