Noted photographer Anthony Barboza leads an on-stage discussion with poet, activist, and journalist Quincy Troupe about his newly re-issued memoir, Miles and Me, a candid account of his friendship with Miles Davis and an engrossing chronicle of the author’s own artistic and personal growth. A special film screening with rare footage of Miles Davis and Mr. Troupe in 1989 will show at 6pm (separate rsvp required).
