The Brooklyn Nets just keep winning! Last night the Nets were victorious over last year’s NBA champions, the Miami Heat (96-95). Paul Pierce came out to play as he scored 29 of the teams 95 points, 17 of which were in the third quarter. The Nets are now 3-0 against the Heat during the regular season. The Nets were without Kevin Garnett and Andrei Kirilenko due to injury, but Jason Kidd made sure his team still came out to win! “We haven’t had any success,” Kidd said of Brooklyn’s perfect score against the Heat. “We’ve just been lucky to win some games.” Kidd, that’s more than luck, but we’ll take it!
Let’s only hope to keep the momentum going throughout the play-offs! We want to see Brooklyn go as far as they can. Last year’s first round elimination wasn’t cutting it!
In other Brooklyn Nets news, Jason Collins will be signed for the remainder of the season. His 10 day contract expires on Friday. That makes Collins able to remain a Net for at-least the next month or so, depending on how far Brooklyn goes in the playoffs. The 35 backup center, has become the first openly gay (Sure there are more, just not saying it) in one of the four biggest North American pro sports leagues.
Your mind purchase cialis http://bananaleaf.com.ph/press/ is there to serve your heart; however most people are so in their mind, and disconnected from their body-based wisdom, that the mind is dysfunctionally running the show.
According to ESPN Collins stated,
“I’m just trying to be Jason Collins. What Jackie Robinson did for the sport of baseball and our society [is] tremendous. But I am just trying to be Jason Collins.”
In numbers Collins has only averaged 0.6 points and 0.8 rebounds in 9.8 minutes. His numbers are short but the size and mentorship has helped his team greatly! The Nets have won seven of eight, including their last six in a row, since bringing Collins aboard.
Congrats to Jason Collins!
