by If you have added Usher on snapchat (FYI: his snap is howusnap) you can see the longtime R&B artist is always traveling to Brooklyn. Just this past Mother’s Day, Usher took us all with him on snap to Crown Heights — dining at Caribbean restaurant Glady’s and strolling along Eastern Parkway.
The singer has also been previously spotted in Downtown Brooklyn, Red Hook and Park Slope. Though we can all agree that Brooklyn is the coolest New York City borough, what’s he always doing here when he reportedly lives in Soho?
Usher surprised Angie Martinez during her Power 105.1 set and discussed everything from new music, a new film, his risky snapchat photo and him being an honorary Brooklynite.
Usher: I’m all over New York City, I’m never in like in one borough. I keep it moving. I like to spend more time in Brooklyn than others.
Angie Martinez: What does Usher do in Brooklyn?
Usher: I got a lot of friends out there. I’m like an honorary Brooklynite.
