These days, its seems as though more movies and television shows have made New York their top selection for project filming — more specifically in Brooklyn.
The boldly brilliant prosecutor, Marcia Clark, on FX’s hit series, The People v. O.J. Simpson, played by Sarah Paulson, is climbing up the ladder of success as she was spotted on the set of the J.D. Salinger biopic entitled Rebel in the Rye in Bed-Stuy on Tuesday. The 41-year-old actress was seen wearing a pinstriped suit and blond tucked in curls to compliment her role as a fiercely loyal literary agent, Dorothy Oliding, who had faith in Salinger since his young age and she supported him over the course of his career.
The film highlights the life of Salinger — retouching his rebellious youth as a writer, his experience of witnessing the goory happenings of World War II, his achievements and setbacks, his column in The New Yorker, as well as the PTSD ignited writer’s block with paved the way for his infamous novel, “The Catcher In The Rye.” Rebel in the Eye stars Nicholas Hoult (Mad Max: Fury Road) as J.D.
