90sFest is back in New York City this weekend. Though not in Brooklyn this year, the most nostalgic festival of the year  is still a hop-skip-and-a-jump away for Brooklynites.
The ultimate throwback party is headed to Governer’s Island on Saturday, September 10 from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Hosted by Paulie Shore, 90sFest presented by Nickelodeon, will feature musical performances by Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, C&C Music Factory, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Sister Hazel, Sugar Ray, DJ Suga Ray, cover band Saved by the 90s and more.
In an effort to take you back to the days of binge-watching 90210 and Saved By The Bell, blowing on your Nintendo cartridge, measuring your fruit by the foot and day dreaming about an evening with Angela Chase and Jordan Catalano, the festival is an over-the-top immersion of the 90s best music, fashion, entertainment, food and beverages.
Outside of performances, Nickelodeon’s The Splat will bring back the most memorable obstacles and challenges from its hit ‘90s game shows including Double Dare, GUTS and Legends of the Hidden Temple along with surprise visits from beloved Nickelodeon characters (yes the Rugrats!), nostalgic sharable moments and of course beware of the SLIME. Other activities include a Jazzercise-style work out and a 90s Arcade with classic, pixelated video games.
Incase you don’t have enough 90s gear, the festival will offer access to a 90s Market complete with throwback swag like bucket hats, flannels and nostalgic candy. Hopefully tons of peanut chews and chic-o-sticks.
