If parents really want their children college ready, they might want to take these three Brooklyn high-schools into consideration.
Brooklyn Latin, Brooklyn Tech and Enterprise, Business and Technology all made “America’s Most Challenging High School” list created by The Washington Post. The school rankings were determined by the number of college-level tests given at a school in the previous calendar year divided by the number of graduates that year.
Brooklyn Latin, which came in first amongst the others from the borough, currently has an amazing four year graduation rate of 97% and a 95% rate of graduates attending 4-year colleges. The prestigious list includes over 2,300 schools across the country with 122 of them being right here in New York City. The list consist of both public and private schools — labeled (P). Certain public schools with highly selective admissions are axed from the list, but information about them can be found on a separate list.
