Another Forbes list is in and this time they’ve gathered the most expensive zip codes to live in. Forbes’ annual list of America’s Most Expensive Zip Codes is based on data from Altos Research, a Mountain View, Calif.-based real estate analysis firm.

Not to much surprise the list is dominated by New York and California zip codes somewhere in between were 17 Brooklyn areas that have pushed their way onto the list.

While I’m not at all surprised by areas like Park Slope, Carroll Gardens and Cobble Hill the median price for a house in Sunset Park does surprise me. Where is Downtown Brooklyn on the list?
