Winner of the best feature documentary of the Art of Brooklyn Film Festival in 2016, In Our Backyard follows the emotional experiences of three recent survivors of sex trafficking in Brooklyn and how aid organizations, law enforcement agents and politicians are able to affect change in this silent epidemic. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker Danielle Rose, Survivor Advocate Iryna (featured in the film), and ECPAT USA Director Carol Smolenski.
