No significant other for the holidays? The good news is you save money on not having to purchase a gift and we have you covered! From things you can do with your family, with your children, your friends…Heck why don’t you just enjoy doing these things on your own?

With new rinks in Brooklyn’s MaCarren and Prospect Park, this would be the perfect way to have some fun while gliding on the ice! If it’s too cold for you there is also an indoor rink at Brooklyn’s Aviator Sports located: Floyd Bennett Field, 3159 Flatbush Avenue. Aviator Sports Rink is only $9 for adults, $7 for children; $5 for skate rental.
The Christmas Day Schedule for Aviator Sports – 11am-3pm / 3:30pm-6:30pm / 7pm-11pm.

4. Be One With The Animals
The New York Aquarium in Coney Island will be open on Christmas Day. Go bond with the animals! They need love too on this festive holiday!
Visit www.nyaquarium.com for schedule.
5. Volunteer Your Time
Last but not least, why don’t you help someone out in need? There are many people who have less than what you have. Some people just want a hot meal for Christmas. Cook up some food and travel around Brooklyn handing out meals to anyone in need. Pack up some toys and visit a hospital and deliver them to children who would rather be at home with their families. Give back your time, energy and/or money! Tis’ the season!
Happy Holidays Brooklyn! Let me know what you did on Christmas!
