Police believe the rappers weren’t the targets.

6ix9ine has made the news repeatedly in the span of weeks. The rapper claimed to have been pistol-whipped and robbed in Brooklyn and was arrested in New York on a Texas warrant alleging he choked a teenage boy. Back in July, charges against him were lowered after 6ix9ine was accused of assaulting an NYPD lieutenant.
