It’s officially 2015 and NBA’s All-Star Weekend is right around the corner. While the borough of Brooklyn is preparing for parties and Friday and Saturday night events at Barclays Center, high-end retailer, Bloomingdales, has officially announced their partnership with the NBA to join in all the festivities.
Bloomingdales is set to provide 16 basketball inspired pop-up shops throughout the country that will offer retro jerseys, vintage graphic t-shirts, special NBA All-Star merchandise and a large array of accessories from a slew of designers including Mitchell & Ness and Junk Food. The shops are set for New York (no word on particularly Brooklyn), Florida, California, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.
Houston Rockets shooting guard, James Harden happens to be the unofficial spokesperson and model for the collaboration. The superstar athlete is also set to appear at the Bloomingdales flagship store on 59th street in Manhattan.
