Brooklyn Museum’s film series presented in conjunction with the exhibition Radical Women: Latin American Art, 1960–1985 continues with Carmita, which tells the story of Cuban actress Carmen Ignarra, who is exiled in Mexico. The documentary is paired with De Cierta Manera (One Way or Another), which captures life in Havana after the Cuban Revolution through a blend of storytelling and historical footage.
