The home straight out of a children’s storybook, can’t seem to get its fairytale ending.

The Brooklyn home known as the ‘Gingerbread House’ located at 8220 Narrows Avenue in Bay Ridge is back on the market. The 5,700 square feet home has been on and off the market since 2009 and is now selling for  $10.99 million. The  home was most recently listed in July 2015 for $11 million.

The whimsical home was designed over 100 years ago by architect James Sarsfield Kennedy for shipping merchant Howard Jones and has been noted by the NY Daily News as “the most magnificent residence in all of New York City.”  The inside of the home boasts 6 bedrooms and 3.5 baths and special features include a music conservatory with cherry and mahogany flooring; a winding wooden staircase; a wine cellar; a pair of well-appointed living rooms with overstuffed couches and armchairs; a gourmet kitchen; a fountain room; a screening room, and a formal wood-paneled dining room with a stunning fireplace. The outdoor area features a unique archway that connects to a three-car garage and a stone wall.
