Dobbin St is launching its first annual Winter Film Series to benefit the Ali Forney Center, which is committed to assisting LGBTQ homeless youths, helping 1,400 youths per year through a 24-hour Drop-In Center that provides over 70,000 meals annually, medical and mental health services, and a housing program. The first film is Spike Lee’s feature from 1986, She’s Gotta Have It. Guests will watch the movie in the main space of Dobbin St, which will be transformed into a luxury movie lounge with popcorn, chips, candy, ice cream sandwiches, cake pops, & chocolate mousse provided by Colonia Verde, Dish Food & Events, Davey’s Ice Cream, Wild Flour, & Mojo Mousse. Food & desserts included in ticket cost, and limited mid-century seating options by Two of a Kind furniture rentals.
