The Texas-based dine-in movie theater chain, Alamo Drafthouse will open its first Manhattan location in the fall of 2019, according to Deadline.

The 12-screen multiplex theater will occupy the basement levels of 28 Liberty in the Financial District. The Manhattan location will feature 4K Barco laser projection, 35MM changeover projection, immersive surround sound, and luxury recliners in all auditoriums — unlike the Brooklyn location where recliners are exclusive to the first row.

Alamo Drafthouse Manhattan will also feature Video Vortex, a bar concept of staff curated  DVDs, Blu-rays, and select VHS available to rent for free. Video Vortex will also sell board games, collectibles, movies, and apparel.

The movie house opened it’s first New York City location in Downtown Brooklyn’s City Point mall in 2016. Alamo Drafthouse also plans on opening a Los Angeles location mid 2019.
