SUMMER JAM the largest and longest running hip hop concert ever, definitely lives up to all of it’s hype! SUMMER JAM, sponsored by HOT 97.1 FM, it is an annual fest that normally takes place in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This year it was at Met Life Stadium and it was streamed by Tidal, (the new music streaming service determined to restore the value of music in the eyes and ears of it’s listeners) Talk about exclusive! To put it in lament terms, it’s the type of concert that you won’t forgive yourself if you miss it. “On your HOT 97, everyday that’s my word!” (pun intended)
SUMMER JAM is like the merging of the legends and the new cats in hip hop. There’s something magical about being in a stadium with thousands of other people and you guys are all belting out the lyrics to your favorite songs together. The energy is just unreal and unmatched.
