Brooklyn is just so sweet! Since Sweet Lee’s opened its doors six months ago, owner Ray Williams, has been one busy man.

Sweet Lee’s was established in 2007 in Louisiana, but was brought to Brooklyn, where Williams was born and raised. Williams was taught the art of baking by his grandmother, Lester, who also goes by the name Sweet Lee’s hence the bakery name.

Sweet Lee’s is located in the heart of Bedford Stuyvesant at 163 Ralph Ave, between Halsey and Macon. Sweet Lee’s brings a sense of Southern Hospitality and comfort to the busy streets of Brooklyn.

If you’re looking for a taste of Southern style desserts Sweet Lee’s is the place to go. Every dessert available is made from scratch, making them all unique. Sweet Lee’s carries an array of delectables from chocolate cake, lemon pound cake, sweet potato pound cake, to vanilla cupcakes and more.

The dessert prices are what you would expect from cupcakes at $3.00, to cake slices at $4.25. They also specialize in personalization of any dessert from wholesale to single pieces.

Although reluctant in bringing his company up north, not knowing how it would be accepted; the bakery has quickly become the talk of Bedford Stuyvesant. Sweet Lee’s puts the sweet in a growing neighborhood.
